Ikseondong

Ikseon-dong is what what is known as a Hanok village, a place that has unique  traditional Korean houses as shops. It is famous for its eateries and photogenic cafes. I went there a couple times during my stay and ate at numerous restaurants and would recommend it since they served great food. There are also small activities like photo booths, flea markets, and caricature that you can do.

The places I recommend going to are the Mil Toast House which specializes in steamed bread and Solsot which specializes in rice pot dishes.  All cafes there are quite pretty and offer a wide variety of choices so cafe hopping to check out all the different options is a fun day activity.
