Pre Departure Process

The program I applied to study abroad in is the Manoa International Exchange, also known as MIX. For this program you need to apply for it a year in advance to when you want to go abroad, since I am studying in Korea during Spring 2023, I applied to MIX in Spring 2022. The link to their application website is MIX application , you need to complete the app, get one letter of recommendation, and write a few essays about why you want to study abroad. I suggest researching the schools you want to see if they have courses that will transfer and count towards your degree. MIX and UH are very good about recording pre-approved courses so you can find classes easily through the course transfer database and through MIX's own databases.
